The original iPad, also known as the 1st Generation iPad, was released in April 2010. It ran on the iOS 5.1.1 operating system and came with apps including the iTunes Store, the App Store, iCloud, and iBookstore. The full size of the iPad 1 measured around 9.56" high by 7.47" wide by 0.50" deep and 1.5 lbs for the Wi-Fi model and 1.5 lbs for the Wi-Fi+3G model.
